Guess When CJ Bear Takes the Plunge Fundraiser: March 20-May 20, 2026
Support Camp Jorn YMCA’s Water Ski Program by taking part in our winter guessing fundraiser!
CJ Bear is standing on the ice, and as it melts, he will slowly sink. Your challenge is to guess the date CJ Bear sinks to his waist. You can follow along by clicking the provided link to watch the live video feed and see his progress in real time.
How it works:
- Make a donation and submit your guess
- $40 per weekday guess
- $20 per weekend day guess
- Three slots available per day
- Closest guess wins
Prizes include:
- $100 CJ Trading Post certificate
- Free water ski session at Camp Jorn
- Bragging rights
Dates to guess: March 20 – May 20
Every guess supports Camp Jorn’s Water Ski Program and helps provide unforgettable summer experiences for our campers.
What to Expect
- After making your donation, you will select a date you think CJ Bear will sink to his waist as the ice melts. Each donation counts as one guess.
- Available dates and open slots can be viewed on the public calendar. Once a date has reached the maximum number of guesses, it will no longer be available.
- As spring temperatures rise, CJ Bear will gradually sink lower into the ice. Camp staff will monitor his progress daily.
- When CJ Bear reaches waist level, the closest guess will be declared the winner. The winner will be contacted by email and announced on our website and social media.
- All proceeds support Camp Jorn YMCA’s Water Ski Program and help provide meaningful outdoor experiences for campers.
