Katy Bost

Chief Executive Officer

Katy leads Camp Jorn with deep passion and vision. A lifelong advocate for children and families, she brings years of professional and personal experience to the role. Her connection to Camp Jorn began as a camper, and today she continues that legacy by guiding the organization’s mission, supporting staff, and ensuring that camp remains a place where every child can thrive.

Lauren

Lauren Heger

Operations Director & Rental Coordinator

Lauren oversees daily camp operations, family camp, rentals, and events. With nearly two decades of experience in youth programming and outdoor education, she ensures every guest and camper enjoys a meaningful and memorable experience. Lauren’s energy, creativity, and love for the Northwoods shine through in everything she does.

Office Manager & Registrar

Jenn is the friendly voice that greets families, manages registration, and keeps camp operations running smoothly. Since joining Camp Jorn in 2018, she’s become an essential part of the camp community — known for her organization, warmth, and genuine care for every camper and family.

Finance Manager

Kim manages Camp Jorn’s financial operations with precision and care. With more than a decade of service to the organization, she ensures sound financial practices and supports staff and board in maintaining Camp Jorn’s long-term sustainability.

Each summer, Camp Jorn welcomes an incredible seasonal staff made up of counselors, specialists, and program leaders from across the country and around the world. Many are former campers who return to give back to the place that helped shape them. Together, they create the magic that makes each Camp Jorn summer unforgettable.

Board Meetings & Public Participation

Camp Jorn YMCA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Wisconsin and Illinois. The Board meets five times per year to plan, review, and advance the mission of the camp.

Meeting dates typically include:

January 11

February 8

May 6–8 (Annual Retreat & Meeting)

October 11

All meetings are open to interested community members. If you’d like to attend, please contact the Camp Jorn office at least seven days in advance to inform the Board Chair of your interest.
