MissionOur mission is for all who engage in Camp Jorn YMCA experiences to recognize and develop value in themselves and in the world around them. LocationCamp Jorn YMCA is situated on a 70+ acre peninsula of mature pine forest in Wisconsin’s Northern Highland State Forest. Located on the shores of Rest Lake, part of the Manitowish Chain of Lakes, the nearest town is Manitowish Waters. HistoryThe property was purchased by the Lake County Family YMCA in 1952. On August 30, 2007, Camp Jorn purchased its title from the Lake County Family YMCA and became an independent YMCA Camp! Camp Jorn has been serving children from IL, WI and other areas throughout the country and across the globe since 1953! |
